Healthy hair starts with the right care between appointments. Here are a few of my favorite stylist tips to help you maintain your color, extensions, and overall hair health at home.

extension
aftercare

tip 1 →

Your everyday habits matter most when it comes to keeping your extensions looking seamless and healthy.

Brush gently multiple times a day, starting at the ends and working your way up. Always hold the wefts at the top to avoid pulling.

Use a leave-in conditioner, hair oil, or serum daily to keep extensions hydrated (apply mid-length to ends).

Always use a heat protectant before styling.

Daily Care

tip 2 →

Using the right products + routine will extend the life of your extensions.

Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.

Incorporate a deep conditioning mask every 2 weeks to maintain softness and shine.

Washing & Hydration

tip 3 →

How you handle your hair daily (and overnight) plays a big role in longevity.

Air dry hair as much as possible. But never go to sleep with wet wefts

Sleep with your hair in a loose low ponytail or braid to prevent tangling.

A few small precautions can make a big difference in protecting your investment.

Be cautious with summer exposure (beach, chlorine, sun, sunscreen, tanning beds) as these can cause damage and discoloration.

If using self-tanner or spray tan, keep hair secured and away from your skin until the tan is fully rinsed.
